Major League Baseball Players Association and Players Trust

The Ask:

Growing from a grassroots effort into a respected nonprofit led by pro athletes, the quickly-made original logo no longer reflected its mission or impact. They needed to modernize the brand, elevate their presence, and position themselves for future growth.

  • Inspired by the Trust’s values and commitment to meaningful causes, I updated the brand to reflect its expanded role in the community and within Major League Baseball.

The redesigned identity strengthened brand recognition and translated seamlessly across digital, print, and experiential platforms.

  • Final deliverables included multiple sizes and color variations to flex across everything from social media and signage to tents, merchandise, and event materials.

(That’s why there are so many here. Hah.)

Designs were developed based on a three-tiered approach—giving the client strategic range:

  • Modernizing the existing logo to better suit today’s marketplace.

  • Reimagining a new look and feel while retaining elements of the brand’s strong platform.

  • Exploring entirely new concepts from the ground up.
