The Ask:
A Documentary Film Director came to me with a folder of film stills and a Word doc of ideas. She needed help shaping it all into a cohesive voice and visual identity for a fundraising campaign, newsletter, one-pager, and website to support her award-winning documentary and start an impact campaign.

To help increase engagement, I brought in a strong typographic hierarchy, punchy, modern colors, and pulled artwork from the film that fit the content.

I helped her find a tone stayed warm and human, while the structure kept everything clear, focused, and urgent.

I laid out a strategy funnel that spoke to two audiences: supporters and potential partners. We wanted to build excitement and share new wins, but mostly keep readers from hitting that “unsubscribe” button.
